<image:title>Home - There are two types of pain — acute or chronic. Acute pain usually arises from an injury, such as a broken arm or twisted ankle. It may be severe, but short-lived, and the source of the pain is often (though not always) apparent.</image:title>
<image:caption>Chronic pain may be constant or intermittent. The source of chronic pain can be due to many issues and a full recovery may not always be possible. My expertise allows me to work with the patient to understand the root cause and recommend the best treatments possible to manage chronic pain.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Back and neck pain are the most common types of chronic pain. In fact, back pain alone accounts for approximately 50% of all types of chronic pain and is the leading cause of disability. Even beyond the numbers, it is not unusual for healthcare professionals to see more than one patient with chronic back or neck pain daily. Unsurprising as 70% of all individuals will experience back pain at least once during their lifetime.</image:caption>
